Although we’ve been busy around here and I don’t think that we can give out any new icons until next week. But once again, I can’t help gratifying the need of the next part of Milky earlier than scheduled. So, here they come, the next 15 icons of Milky.
Although I planned to add every 15 icons to Milky set every week, but some readers emailed and told me they couldn’t wait to see the next part. That urges me to break the timeframe and release the second part earlier than I expected. From now on, Milky is also available in SVG 1.0 format.
After the first week, Bright! hit 14.000 downloads. What a great news! I didn’t even imagine that Bright! was being loved that much. The heat is on!
It’s kinda sad that Bright! download is temporary canceled but hopefully it will be back soon. Nevertheless, upon its success, we decide to keep releasing another icon set, named Milky.
At Frexy, we really love icon design. In the past few months, me and Vu Tran have worked on an icon set called “Bright!”, and today, we happily release Bright! as a freebie for you.
In the previous post, we had a go behind the curtain to see what I’ve done with my blog design. Now let’s continue to dig into a very important phase - the blog development. In this article, instead of covering all the xhtml/css code (which is really boring), I will show you the pre-coding process, also some cool techniques that I use across this process.
“Do you have a blog?”
Yes, here you are!
But I was obsessed with this question for a while. I got it started in early 2007, around 5-6 different concepts were made, with over 20 variations, and this project seemed never-ending. “Working on our own project” - it sounds pleasant and self-decisive for a designer, right? But it’s a nightmare, when it ends up in a situation wherein it’s me to be my own client, my most finicky client, my worse client. Until last week, I eventually found myself some free time and felt that there’s no excuse to delay this project. “The show must go on!”. I made my mind to bring my blog to life, this time!
Hold on for a second! I know it’d be too lengthy to show you how my blog is done, or call a design process. I’m, however, being extremely excited with its launch, and it makes me feel eager to take you in there behind the curtain, to see what I’ve done.
