I came into this real world on March 10, 1985 in a beautiful countryside of Quang Nam province in the middle region of Vietnam. Growing up with comic books, pencils and sketch books in hands, I spent most of my childhood to draw and paint and discover things around me.
I have lived in many places in my country and witnessed different lifestyles - from countrysides to big cities. What a great experience of my life! Currently, I am aside in Ho Chi Minh City, the sunny city in the South of Vietnam.
An interesting and meaningful day of mine is the day that is filled with a lot of music, pure coffee and crafted pixels.
When I was a child, I thought that I would become a comic artist. Until the day my father brought a computer to home and said to me "It’s yours!", and I didn’t even aware that it was the thingy my life and work would stick to from that moment.
One day I curiously installed a software called "Photoshop 5.0". I was suprised because I could do many interesting things with it. During that summer, I spent countless hours to learn Photoshop, ActionScript, HTML, ... while my friends were happily playing soccer out there. Later that year, I won a local web design prize. This encouraging award led me to the world of web design, and I never look back.
In 2003 I gave up my college life and took the vocation as a junior designer for a small design agency. Several months later, I decided to go solo under the name of Frexy. In early 2005, me and my younger brother Vu Tran had the same thought that Frexy needed to be in more collaboration. Yes, indeed. And Frexy Studio was born.
...and the rest is history!
